Olaplex improves the strength of hair during the coloring process with two easy steps during in-salon treatments. trUe recommends purchasing step number three, to maintain your hair’s strength at home in-between salon services. The first product, Bond Multiplier No.1, will be applied directly to your hair color, and it will start repairing hair bonds which are broken during chemical, mechanical, and thermal services.
Olaplex No.2 Bond Perfector will be applied before shampooing and contains the same ground-breaking ingredient found in the first step— except this time it’s been formulated into a cream solution. The second step will connect the residual disulfide bonds to restore the integrity of your hair. The retail product Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector is available at trUe’s Westborough and Framingham Salons. If you do decide to take Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector home, congratulations (you won’t be disappointed)! Simply apply the product liberally to towel-dried hair, comb through, and let it sit for ten minutes or more. Even though the product isn’t a conditioning treatment, the longer it’s left on your hair the better! After, make sure to rinse, shampoo, and condition as usual.

What’s in it?
Olaplex contains the active ingredient Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate which acts a bond multiplier.
